David also recognized Lt. Nicholas Calderon "For invaluable assistance in hosting the Director of the Vehicle Technologies Office at the Department of Energy on June 25th and 26th. His exceptional efforts in coordinating the VIP escort service ensured that our meeting started promptly and smoothly. Additionally, his arrangement of reserved parking slots next to each tour site at the Lab significantly reduced our travel logistics. truly commendable." What an incredible experience visiting the James J. Rowley training center this past Wednesday.
On July 24th, some of our staff from the SSBU team visited the United States Secret Service James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD for a site visit. The SSBU has been providing security services at this location since 2016, and will continue to do so through a contract awarded to Chenega Global Protection. The SSBU team had the privilege of touring the facility and meeting some of the individuals working there. Thank you to the US Secret Service James J Rowley Training Center for your continued partnership with Chenega.

We'd like to wish a fond farewell to our summer intern Grace Kobyra. This summer she was able to learn and apply new skills in a rotational role through multiple departments at the SSBU. During her last week, she was presented with an appreciation award presented by President Tim Lamb to congratulate her on her completion of her program.
