Another solar plant energized in our partnership with the City of Atlanta. Comprised of 276 panels, this system will power over 25% of the Parks & Recreation Department's in-office operations annually; bringing the city closer to achieving its meaningful clean energy and emissions reduction goals. #KeepOnShining

Cherry Street Energy is officially operating in Virginia. This installation was made possible through the support of our Shine On partner Nicole Lee and the crew from FLIPP Inc., a Virginia-based workforce development organization that prioritizes career training for disadvantaged individuals. Building these systems provides the opportunity to grow the renewable energy workforce and open up a path that allows individuals to enjoy the benefits a clean energy future will bring. #BrightEnergy

This week, we had the privilege of hosting the Atlanta Women in Sustainability at our headquarters. As we continue to engage the communities we serve about the benefits clean energy provides, we welcome the opportunity to support groups like the AWiS and are appreciative of their efforts to educate others on renewable power. The path to a clean energy future can only be navigated through collaboration. Thank you to Savannah Seydel and the Atlanta Women in Sustainability for providing us this opportunity. #BrightEnergy

"We did not leave the Stone Age because we ran out of stone [...] there's a better technology. Solar panels, this technology, is a core and critical component of this inevitable transition to incorporate renewable power." Thank you to Preston Poag Jr. of The Green Hour Podcast for sitting down with our CEO Michael Chanin to discuss the future of our energy landscape and the benefits we all stand to gain in this wide-scale adoption of dependable, clean electricity. #BrightEnergy Watch the interview here: https://lnkd.in/eE8AMD7n

Yesterday we spent some time with Clarke County students to teach them about solar power, its emergence as a leading energy-producing technology, and the benefits it will provide them over the decades to come. Our thanks to the Clarke County School District for this opportunity. As Cherry Street continues to lead the incorporation of on-site renewable energy in the southeast, we always welcome the opportunity to engage individuals in the communities we serve, and help them better understand the advantages of solar power. #ShineOn

We often use the term "Built Environment" in tandem with our on-site solar power solution. If you're wondering what is meant by that term, here's our CEO Michael Chanin to explain. Our thanks to the team at Visit Athens GA for spotlighting our system on The Classic Center. As we continue to energize the southeast with emission-free electricity, we're grateful to have support from leaders like Paul Cramer CFE who recognize the advantages of on-site solar power, and understand the benefits that this reliable source of energy can bring to their organizations and communities. Recently Cherry Street energized another Shine On supported system. For this project, we partnered with Tony Collado and his team at Unlimited Pro Maintenance to install a 173 kW solar plant at Stratford Academy. Constructing solar power systems provides an opportunity for individuals to participate in the clean energy economy and enjoy its benefits. Shine On continues to be a conduit for connecting those individuals with those opportunities. #ShineOn

Yesterday, Cherry Street Energy celebrated its 9th birthday. Since 2015, every year continues to prove our founding hypothesis true: Renewable power is necessary to meeting our energy needs; and on-site solar power systems remain the most reliable and scalable sources of renewable energy. We're looking forward to another year of bringing our customers electricity that is predictably priced, free of emissions, and enables workforce benefits in the communities we serve. #KeepOnShining
