“Sí se puede”—three words that ignited a movement and still light the way today ✊ César Chávez dedicated his life to fighting for dignity and justice. Alongside Dolores Huerta, he stood with farmworkers, demanding fair wages and safer conditions. And he showed us that even the smallest voices, when united, can create waves of change. Dolores, a fearless advocate and organizer, brought her own fuerza to the fight, reminding us that women are just as essential to movements for justice. On César Chávez Day, we celebrate their legacy—a legacy that lives in the strength of communities that organize, the resilience of families that persevere, and the courage of generations that dare to dream of a better tomorrow. Together, we honor them by standing up, speaking out, and proving that change is possible when we fight as one.

"I placed a hand on my belly... and felt my baby kick. That's when I remembered my why." Amanda Perez, Project Manager for CPLC Battle Cry Veteran Services, knows the hardest battles begin after you hang up the uniform. As a young veteran juggling grad school, pregnancy, and her husband’s deployment, she faced a foe unlike any she’d been trained to take on: isolation. Today, she helps veterans connect. Because true strength isn’t about enduring alone—it’s about healing together. Swipe to see how Amanda's journey from service to motherhood fuels her mission.

Ser mujer means being everything and anything you choose to be—strong, soft, and imparable✨ We asked mujeres what they love most about being a woman, and their respuestas were as diverse as they are inspiring. For some, it’s the joy of motherhood y la fuerza it brings. For others, it’s the deep connection of sisterhood and the shared experiences that bind us. Many expressed the orgullo of being everything their mamás dreamed of and more. Our cplc mujeres are proof that we can be both rooted en nuestras tradiciones and limitless in our sueños. 🌸💖

🎬✨ Inspiring the next generation! We were honored to have the Chicano Hollywood team visit our YouthBuild program in Nevada, showing young leaders that filmmaking isn’t just a dream—it’s a career within reach. No matter the challenges they face, these young people are worth investing in—and most importantly, they should believe in themselves, because we believe in them. 💪🏽🎥 Thank you, Chicano Hollywood, for showing our youth that their voices and stories matter! #YouthBuild #ChicanoHollywood #FutureFilmmakers #BelieveInYourself Johnny Murillo Gil Cortez Bivens Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Raúl Grijalva, the Arizona Congressman who passed today at age 77. Grijalva has represented Arizona in Washington, DC, since 2003. Previously he served on the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Tucson Unified School District. Grijalva was a lifelong champion of underserved communities and the environment. For him, the two were intrinsically linked, as he understood the social impact public policy makes on both. Along with our condolences, we offer our sincere appreciation for a great yet humble leader who never forgot where he came from as he focused on where we should be going as a community, state, and nation.

We don’t ask for a seat at the table—we build our own. Y luego, we make it bigger 💃 This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the mujeres who don’t wait for permission to lead, who don’t back down , and who don’t just dream of change—we make it happen. From the boardrooms to the barrios, mujeres everywhere are showing the world what’s possible. We’re the ones planting seeds of change in our communities, raising our voices for justice, and proving that the richness of our traditions, our languages, and our stories is a source of power, pride, and endless possibility. We’re the ones who’ve paved the way and the ones still breaking barriers—turning challenges into conexiones, pain into purpose, and hope into acción. And when we face a mountain, we don’t turn back. We climb. We build bridges. We move it, piece by piece, until the path is clear for everyone behind them. We are raíces y sueños. We are fuerza y futuro. And together, we are unstoppable.
