About us
Our Mission: Children's Aid helps children in poverty to succeed and thrive. We do this by providing comprehensive supports to children and their families in targeted high-needs New York City neighborhoods. For 170 years, Children’s Aid has been committed to ensuring that there are no boundaries to the aspirations of young people, no limits to their potential. We are leading a comprehensive counterattack on the obstacles that threatens kids’ achievement in school and in life. At Children’s Aid, we are teachers and social workers, coaches and health care providers. We know what it takes to ensure children grow up strong and healthy, and ready to thrive in school and life.

🗳️Today is National Voter Registration Day! 🗳️ At Children's Aid, we understand the profound impact elections have on shaping the future for our children, youth, and families. As we approach the polls this November, we’ll be focusing on the critical issues that matter most - like funding for Head Start and school meals, access to affordable child care, early learning opportunities, K-12 federal funding, and ensuring the safety of our students. This election represents a pivotal moment for America, and it's essential that we all show up - not just to vote, but to protect the rights of today's youth and future generations. I encourage everyone to not only plan to vote, but also to get informed about what’s at stake. Learn how to get #VoteReady today 👉 https://lnkd.in/e64KeKdm
