Christian City is partnering with National Church Residences to make sure everyone has the opportunity to register to vote. On Thursday, Sept. 26, from 10am-Noon, we're hosting representatives from Fulton County at our Rec Center to register voters or help them move registration from a previous home. They will also have absentee ballots and other information about the upcoming election - and voter machine demo units, in case you’d like to practice! The right to vote is a privilege and voting is an important part of being a member of a community. The last day to register is October 5 and the General Election is November 5. All are welcome, so tell your friends and family.

Extending Christ’s call to love your neighbor through housing, health care & crisis intervention.
About us
Christian City was established in 1965 when the first cottage for abused and abandoned children opened on Valentine’s Day. Today, there are more than 1,000 residents, both children and senior adults, living on the 500-acre campus located in south metro Atlanta. Our mission is to extend Christ's call to love your neighbor through housing, health care and crisis intervention for children, families and older adults. The beautifully wooded campus includes the Children's Village Residential Program, Crossroads Foster Care & Adoption Program, Safe Place Runaway & Homeless Youth Program, Thrive Graduate Transition Program, a thrift store, four neighborhoods of patio homes and four subsidized apartment buildings for active seniors, a 150-bed Assisted Living Center, 200-bed Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and two specialty units for victims of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. An array of amenities, activities and services are available for senior residents of Christian City - a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, hair salon, spiritual care services, volunteer opportunities, recreational activities, Bible studies, transportation services, on-site pharmacy, home health care, and hospice care. Our promise: Life-changing Hope through Faith, Community and Care.

Christian City volunteers are among the many Tech/Ops employees at Delta and our hearts are with them and their colleagues after a terrible explosion killed two of their co-workers early this morning. Delta volunteers have done it all at Christian City, over decades, contributing love and sweat -and so much more - to help us help vulnerable children and families. #deltaairlines #deltaairlines

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and we know knowledge is the foundation of prevention. Child sexual abuse is not limited to zip codes or income brackets. It can happen on any street or in any neighborhood. Protect the children in your life by learning the facts about child abuse. #KnowTheFacts #ChildAbusePreventionMonth

Christian City is part of the Safe Place network - a national youth outreach and prevention program for young people under the age of 18 (up to 21 years of age in some communities) in need of immediate help and safety. As a collaborative community prevention initiative, Safe Place designates businesses and organizations as Safe Place locations, making help readily available to youth in communities across the country. Safe Place locations include: libraries, YMCAs, fire stations, public buses, various businesses, and social service facilities. Within an hour of receiving a call, Christian City picks up and brings to safety the teen seeking help. In 2023, Safe Place rescued 12K kids nationally.
