Our President and CEO Rajiv Datar is looking forward to pitching ChromaTan and our Kascade™ BioRMB™ platform at The Big Idea CONNECTpreneur Community’s upcoming Virtual Rocket Pitch this Thursday, April 25th. We are excited to tune in for the other pitches and connect with investors as we wrap up our Bridge round and launch our Series B.   Our Kascade™ BioRMB™ system empowers biopharmaceutical manufacturing with the first-ever columnless, single-use, steady-state continuous elution chromatography platform, offering increased recovery and productivity, enhanced purity, flexibility, and scalability, while dramatically reducing resin consumption and downtime for the cost-effective production of life-saving therapies.   Our platform is an ideal candidate for increasing recovery and product quality for sensitive modalities such as AAV, LV, mRNA, and many others. Please reach out to Rajiv Datar to learn more about ChromaTan’s partnering and funding efforts. #CONNECTpreneur #bioprocessing #chromatography #genetherapy

Today, we'd like to recognize Khajay Tyrell, our current Drexel University Co-Op who implemented a solution for reducing waste from our 3D printing process. Khajay noticed that our PLA (polylactic acid) scrap from failed 3D prints is harmful to the planet as it goes directly into landfills and takes a long time to degrade properly.    Khajay's solution: To purchase and build a <$1,000 filament recycler specifically designed to recycle PLA scraps into new material.   With just the assistance of a few tools, a tree shredder, and a 3d-printed sieve, he is able to: • Reduce our reliance on virgin plastic: Recycled filament cuts down the need for new PLA, minimizing our environmental footprint. We have been able to use 100% recycled shreds to remake brand-new rolls of filament for R&D purposes.  • Print cost-effectively: Recycled filament reduces the need to purchase new filament as often and as much. • Promote a circular economy: By keeping plastic waste within our production loop, we contribute to a more sustainable future.   #sustainability #3dprinting #innovation #recycling #environment
