Applications for Cincy Next and C-Change close next week on October 15th! Cincy Next is a program for emerging leaders with fewer than 8 years of professional experience to strengthen leadership skills, expand networks, and increase knowledge of self, business, and community. The curriculum for this program includes topics around current regional civic issues, utilizing personality assessments within your teams and to grow professionally, time management and goal setting techniques, Cincinnati history and future, and more. Participants of Cincy Next will have a unique opportunity to connect their professional growth to a broader civic network to increase their potential for impact in Cincinnati. C-Change is a 10-month leadership development program for advancing mid-career leaders in the Cincinnati region. The curriculum combines leadership development with community engagement opportunities, increasing participants’ capabilities for current and future leadership roles. As part of the program, participants also lead meaningful community projects that improve their connectivity to the region while providing an opportunity to positively impact it. In a significant move to support diverse businesses in our region, KeyBank has awarded a $300,000 grant to the Cincinnati Minority Business Accelerator (MBA) program this week. This investment marks a major milestone in the Cincinnati Minority Business Accelerator's ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive business community. The Cincinnati Minority Business Accelerator, established in 2003, has been instrumental in supporting the growth of minority-owned businesses throughout the region. This new funding will enhance the program's ability to provide resources, mentorship, and growth opportunities to minority business enterprises.

As the November election approaches with early voting beginning next week, the Cincinnati Regional Chamber emphasizes its ongoing commitment to advocacy beyond election cycles. The Chamber's Government Affairs & Advocacy Team consistently works to advance pro-growth policies at local, state, and federal levels. This past Wednesday, the Chamber Advocacy Council convened at UC Health Gardner Center to discuss critical childcare policy implications for the workforce and economy.
