Helping you make sense of the economy. Follow for daily updates

The Econ Games 2025 has officially broken our attendance records with 138 talented undergraduate students, 26 dedicated faculty advisors, and 20 universities participating from across the country! Since founding The Econ Games in 2017, our vision has been to bridge classroom learning with real-world economic analysis. What began as a student-led initiative at Northern Kentucky University has become a transformative experience connecting tomorrow's economic leaders with today's business challenges. I want to thank our data sponsor, 3CDC , for providing students with meaningful, real-world datasets that will push their analytical skills to new heights. Your commitment to supporting educational innovation makes a tremendous difference. Additionally, this event wouldn't be possible without all our generous sponsors who have invested in these bright minds and the future of economic analysis. Your support enables us to create an environment where students can apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems while building connections that will last throughout their careers. To everyone participating this year—students, faculty advisors, industry professionals, and university partners—thank you for being part of this journey. I can't wait to see the innovative solutions our students develop over the coming days! See you all at Memorial Hall on April 3rd! A special shoutout to my partner, Darshak Patel, without him this wouldn't be possible. Thanks to  all the people working behind the scenes to make this a success, Amberly Nutini Jeni Al Bahrani  Rebecca W.  Rebecca Callen, CPA . We're incredibly grateful for our partnerships with the Ohio Department of Development, City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, and Visit Cincy to be able to bring the reimagined Convention District to life!

Set to be the centerpiece of the Convention Center District, the new Cincinnati convention headquarters hotel is well on its way to becoming a catalyst for Cincinnati's convention and tourism industries. From awarding Transformation Mixed-Use Development Program funding, to the ground breaking last July, to visiting the project it's been great to see the project from idea to fulfillment. We can't wait to return when it's complete! City of Cincinnati 3CDC Lydia Mihalik

This month’s CREW Greater Cincinnati luncheon looked a little different today… A big thank you to 3CDC for hosting us at Vintage on Race and sharing updates on their active projects taking place in our city’s core - most notably the Saks Fifth Avenue and Cincinnati Convention Center renovations. We wrapped up with an exclusive tour of the Saks Fifth Avenue construction site, where Paycor is set to move in the coming months. Exciting transformations are happening right here in Cincinnati!

Thanks to Lindzie Gunnels and 3CDC for moderating the CREW Greater Cincinnati luncheon at the new Vintage on Race. Fantastic food and networking…We were updated on the exciting Fountain District and the transformation of my beloved SFA (which will now be Paycors offices and the soon to be anticipated Salazar Restaurant!) This, with the latest on the reinvention of the Duke Convention Center. Nothing better than ending the luncheon with a hard hat tour of the Saks Building with like minded individuals.
