Today, we'd like to acknowledge the passing of Coachella's former City Manager, David Richard Garcia. He stands as the longest tenured City Manager in the history of our City, having served our community from 2010-2017. We send our sincere condolences to David's family, and friends. He left an indelible mark with the City and our staff. Here is a link to his obituary in the Desert Sun - https://lnkd.in/g2FuaD5h

Today, we remember the heroes and lives lost on 9/11. Twenty-three years later, the strength, unity, and resilience of that day remain in our hearts. #neverforget

Today is #hungeractionday and Coachella staff was happy to represent by wearing orange, which is the symbolic color for hunger relief. If you happen to be in our downtown tonight, you'll also catch Etherea illuminated in orange at the corner of Cesar Chavez and 6th Street! #findfoodbank #supportingcauses #teamcoachella
