Fire Chief at City of Fort Lauderdale

I'm excited to announce that Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue has been awarded a $11.3 million SAFER grant from FEMA, the largest single-source grant in our department's history. This funding will support the hiring of 28 additional firefighter/paramedics over the next three years, enhancing our ability to respond to emergencies and provide top-tier service to our community. A huge thank you to my dedicated team for their hard work in securing this grant. This is a significant milestone for our department!
