Beginning October 16th, Nicor Gas and their contractor NPL will begin upgrades to portions of the natural gas system in the Crest Hill and Joliet areas to ensure safe and reliable service. This project involves inspecting sewers, installing new natural gas mains and service lines, relocating existing gas meters, and retiring old facilities.
