On Monday, Sept. 9, Mayor Leighty, City Manager Geyer and numerous current and former community leaders gathered for one last meeting at our old City Hall. On Sept. 16, we celebrated the opening of Northglenn’s new City Hall — a milestone in our city’s history — with a ceremonial City Council meeting. The new Northglenn City Hall is the first net-zero municipal building in Colorado, setting a new standard for sustainability and innovation. The facility is intended to be a hub for community engagement and the foundation for shaping our city’s future. All are welcome to join us for our open house on Oct. 12 from noon until 4 p.m.

City of Northglenn staff participated in the 9/11 Day of Service by painting the tunnel and picking up trash, and the police department hosted a remembrance gathering. Thank you to all the community members who participated in the week of service, including IECRM, and helped beautify our city.
