IMPORTANT POST-STORM INFORMATION — The dumpsite at the Papillion Public Works Department, located at 99th Circle and Portal Road, will open to the public tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 1, and Friday, Aug. 2, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The dumpsite will also open Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The dumpsite will ONLY accept tree and brush debris. No trash will be accepted. The site is open to Papillion residents, Papillion water customers and La Vista residents only. Bring an ID or a copy of your water bill to prove residency. Sarpy County’s dumpsite will also be open for storm debris as well. Due to power outage and storm damage to City water facilities, the City of Papillion is asking residents to turn off lawn sprinklers for the next 24 hours. Residents in some areas of town may experience reduced pressure as City booster pumps come back online from power outage. There is no impact to the safety of the water, and residents can continue normal household water usage. The City of Papillion is currently cleaning up debris and repairing infrastructure across the community. If you don’t need to travel this evening, please stay home to allow crews to work safely and effectively. After 7 a.m. tomorrow, if you see road hazards such as downed trees or signage and signal issues that have not been addressed, please report to the Mayor’s Hotline at 402-827-1111 or https://lnkd.in/g_5ju9ZA
