    With 7 years of experience in Code Compliance in The City of Riviera Beach, Mr. Nehru Balgobin leads the Code Compliance Division in the Development Services Department. His expertise lies in identifying violations and collaborating effectively with diverse communities. Throughout his career, he has honed his management skills, supporting officers and streamlining city administration and Council processes. Mr. Balgobin's proficiency with Energov is evident as he has successfully transitioned departmental processes and introduced innovative inspection tracking methods.   Before joining Riviera Beach, Mr. Balgobin held various roles in the City of Miami Beach, including Code Compliance Officer 1, Code Compliance Officer 2, and Code Compliance Supervisor. His contributions in Miami Beach were instrumental in process optimization and enhancing field mobility for officers. Mr. Balgobin holds certifications in F.A.C.E. Levels 1, 2, and 4.   During his 8-month tenure at the City of Riviera Beach, Mr. Balgobin implemented body cameras, digital tracking systems for complaints and inspections, and new documentation procedures to enhance the efficiency of the Special Magistrate process. He is currently focused on migrating old case files to Energov to further improve operations.

His extensive knowledge of construction methods, coupled with his ability to foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, has earned him a reputation for consistently delivering successful outcomes.   Before joining the City of Riviera Beach, Mr. Finney held key leadership roles in the construction sector, managing a wide range of projects from commercial developments to large-scale infrastructure ventures. His unwavering focus on safety, innovation, and client satisfaction has positioned him as a respected figure in the industry.   Mr. Finney is an active member of professional associations such as the Black Construction Management Association of America.     🔥 Today, we bid farewell to Riviera Beach Fire Station 89 after a 30-year lease with the VA Medical Center. Station 89 has now moved to its new home at station 88 on W. Blue Heron Blvd. 🚒 A big thank you to the incredible West community for standing by our firefighters all these years.     Today at the Community Roundtable Event, Palm Beach County agencies united to address Florida's House Bill 1365. Together, we brainstormed and pooled resources to help the homeless affected by the bill.
