The City of Dunedin is proud to recognize Firefighters/Paramedics Braden McLaughlin and John Clarke from Dunedin Fire Rescue, who participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stairclimb in Kansas City, Missouri, to honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice. Braden climbed in memory of Scott Larsen (Ladder 15), while John honored Lee S. Fehling (Engine 235), joined by John's former department. We commend their dedication and hope to see more of our firefighters join this meaningful tribute in the future. #NeverForget

Today, we pause to honor and remember the victims of 9/11. Fire Station 61, at 903 Michigan Blvd, has a 9/11 memorial which includes a piece of steel from the World Trade Center, serving as a lasting reminder of the brave firefighters and first responders we lost but will never forget. #NeverForget #September11
