The City of Santa Ana seeks a dynamic Principal Employee Relations Analyst supervise and oversee the administration of advanced professional and technical functional areas within the Employee Relations Division, including but not limited to labor relations, employee relations, classification & compensation, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) administration, and employee leaves of absence with City departments and outside agencies.  Candidates must possess at least five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources administration, including three (3) years of employee and labor relations experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience, supplemented by a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Our thoughts are with the eight Orange County Fire Authority firefighters who were injured in last week’s rollover crash. These firefighters were returning from the Airport fire where they were risking their lives to protect the Orange County community, as so many OCFA firefighters do on a daily basis, including here in Santa Ana. With over 30 years of service to Santa Ana, Mr. Nuñez has held leadership positions in the Planning and Building Agency and the City Manager’s Office.
