The Center of What's Possible

About us

Santa Clara is a family oriented and business friendly city with an award-winning ethics program and a commitment to fostering public trust. In the heart of Silicon Valley, the City is located in Santa Clara County at the southern tip of San Francisco Bay, about 45 miles south of San Francisco, and in a strategic regional location convenient to freeways, airports, railroads, expressways, light rail and other public transportation. "The Mission City," as Santa Clara is known, was founded in 1852. It is now a community of about 123,752 residents with employment base of about 65,800. With 18.41 square miles of tree-lined neighborhoods, thriving commercial and industrial centers, and 300 days of sunshine each year, it is an ideal location for individuals, families, and businesses. The City of Santa Clara is not your typical Bay Area city. It’s better. From historic homes to high tech industry, theme park thrill rides, and Levi's Stadium, you will find the City of Santa Clara is "the center of what's possible." http://santaclaraca.gov

🎉 We’re live! After months of hard work (and probably one too many late-night review sessions), Discover Santa Clara® has officially launched not one—but two—foundational projects that take our destination marketing to the next level.   🚀 First up: DiscoverSantaClara.org has undergone a full transformation. Built in partnership with the stellar team at Madden Media, this new website is more than just a pretty interface—it’s a powerful tool designed to serve visitors and planners alike. We’re talking sleek design, smart functionality, and content that actually makes you want to stick around.   Some of our favorite upgrades: 🏨 Book Your Stay Capability – Through a partnership with Simpleview (a Granicus company), visitors can now compare real-time rates across our 11 partner hotels and book directly through hotel websites. Goodbye, booking friction. 🗂️ Seamless RFP Submissions – Planners, rejoice. Our new “Submit an RFP” button integrates with Cvent’s WhiteLabel tool for a faster, cleaner way to connect. 🌎 Multi-Language Support – One click, seven languages. Just in time for Super Bowl LX and the FIFA World Cup 2026, we’re ready to welcome the world. 🗺️ Interactive Neighborhood Map – Built with help from our friends at the City of Santa Clara, this tool lets visitors explore Santa Clara’s personality-packed neighborhoods with ease. 🎥 Dynamic Visuals – A cinematic hero video, an animated illustration by We The Creative, and high-energy imagery that capture Santa Clara’s spark in motion. ✍️ Engaging Blog Content – From “Best Places to Fuel Up for Game Day” to tech-meets-tourism stories, our blog content is a peek behind the curtain that keeps visitors engaged longer.   📘 Next: Say hello to our brand-new Discover Santa Clara Visitor Guide—a 52-page blend of local favorites and hidden gems, served with just the right amount of swagger. Inside you’ll find: 🍽️ “Global Cuisine | Diverse Dining in Santa Clara” – A flavor-packed tour of our culinary scene. 🍩 Spotlight: Stan’s Donuts – Because some icons are glazed and filled. 🏟️ “All Eyes Are on Levi’s® Stadium” – A behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to make Levi’s® a world-class destination. 💡 “Technological Brilliance” – A nod to the everyday innovations born right here in Santa Clara. We printed 75,000 copies of the guide, which will have a 2-year shelf life and a national footprint. It’s already hitting California Welcome Centers, major airports (OAK, SJC, LAS, SAN, SEA), and nearly 200 hotels throughout Santa Clara County. Want your own copy? Download or request one here. https://lnkd.in/gbE6UcTf   🙌 A huge thank you to our creative partners at Madden Media. We may have questioned our sanity tackling two massive projects at once, but your team’s brilliance, hustle, and partnership made it all not just possible—but remarkable.
