📢 Big news for Lancaster County! Today, Assemble Lincoln announced its selection of the site for Lincoln’s future Downtown Convention Center – S. 13th and M streets (Garfield Public/Private site)! 🎉 This milestone is the result of an extensive and thorough site selection process led by Assemble Lincoln, Lancaster County’s standing committee overseeing the development of the convention center, in collaboration with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Visit Lincoln, and Downtown Lincoln Association. The project has brought together an experienced team, including representatives from Governor Jim Pillen's office, the Nebraska Legislature, Congressman Mike Flood’s office, Lancaster County, and other community partners, who have had the privilege of working with a world-renowned project team from Legends, Populous, and Clark & Enersen. 🤝 Their combined expertise has guided the selection of the best site to maximize economic impact and revitalization in our community. 📈 The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners is proud to be part of this transformative effort, which will bring new opportunities, drive tourism, and strengthen our community for years to come.
