SH130 Intelligent Infrastructure Grids establishing Autonomous Infrastructure Economic Zone (AI-EZ)

About us

SH130 will be one of the first Intelligent, Autonomous, and Electrified Corridors in the Nation. The Autonomy Institute is collaborating with Texas cities and agencies on the 90-mile Texas SH-130 corridor. This intelligent corridor will support automated freight and delivery; intelligent and autonomous vehicles; and advanced services to communities along the corridor. This Intelligent Infrastructure will also eliminate the digital divide and accelerate Texas into the 21st century with jobs, economic growth, and stronger more resilient communities. Intelligent Infrastructure (the foundation of ARPA-I) goes well beyond transportation and will be the brains of our economy. Providing advanced city services, resilient and carbon-free economies, closing the technology divide, enabling autonomous systems, and most important; securing data for people, cities, and governments. Creating millions of new jobs and economic growth nationwide. SH130 will be one of the first Intelligent Infrastructure Corridors in the Nation. Clean Energy Tech Center (CETC) is located in Austin, Texas in the City's Preferred Development Zone. Supporting a Regional Intelligent, Autonomous, and Electrified Corridor on SH130. Each Intelligent Corridor will activate PINN clusters to support edge computing, NextG, Broadband, and charging stations within regions that have been previously isolated or disconnected. The deployment will support near-term and long-term services to our communities. The SH130 Coalition developed an integrated deployment plan for the entire 92-mile region and will be supporting dozens of communities. The PINNs will support include broadband, advanced wireless, connected systems sensors, assured position-navigation-timing, charging infrastructure, edge computing, and much more. CETC is a 240-acre mixed-use development site on Hwy 130. Regional ASOCC Fleet Management Supply Chain Logistics Transportation Autonomous Systems Emergency Operations
