Let's talk event photography 📸 Here are some of my favorite photos from Platinum Summit alongside some tips & tricks to help you get some great event photos! 1. Be ready for anything. You never know when a fun, heartfelt, or surprise moment will take place, and you'll want to make sure you've got your camera ready to capture it! (always have spare batteries & cards on you) 2. Mix wide and tight shots. To convey the full story of the event, be sure to use both wide and telephoto lenses to capture what's taking place. Show the whole ballroom with a wide shot, then capture a close up of the speaker with your telephoto. 3. Look for emotion. Don't go in blasting thousands of photos of stuff. Be patient and wait for that great smile, hand gestures, or loving embrace of old friends. No one wants stale photos of them staring into the air - make the guests look good! 4. Capture details & people. It's easy to get sucked into detail photography or just photos of the guests, but both of these are super important to the company to show the scale and class of their event. 5. Learn on-camera flash. Lighting is everything, and learning how to dial in your on-camera flash to create appealing photos will make a world of difference. When the event goes indoors or the sun sets, you want to be sure you're still ready to rock and roll. 6. Go out of your way to create good photos. Take initiative and ask a group if you can take their photo. Take a new golden hour headshot for someone. Move objects around or out of the way for clean detail photos. You'll find that most people actually like when you tell them what to do for a photo! 7. Be present. This sounds silly, but really. Be around and available. You never know what good moment you might find to photograph along the way. Again, beyond thankful to ClickBank for this opportunity! Photographers - what else would you add to this list? And non-photographers - what would you say makes a good photographer/photo experience at an event? #eventphotography #digitalmarketing #clickbank People featured: (that I can tag) Thomas McMahon Zeljan Avdic Joshua T. Back from ClickBank Platinum Summit 2024! There simply is nothing like an in-person event to build new relationships and foster current ones. Here are some of my takeaways from this stellar event: 1. Don't be afraid to go up and talk to people you don't know. Start the conversation. Ask the questions. You never know how valuable that connection could be in the future. 2. Be present. Some of the best conversations and moments happen outside of the main event schedule. Make yourself visible! 3. Soak it all in. These events fly by and before you know it you're on the plane headed back home. Take a minute during each breakout session, pool networking time, dinner with people, etc. to take it in and commit it to memory. 4. Be specific with what you want to get out of the event. Don't just say, "I want to meet people." For me, I turn this into, "I'm looking to meet a content creator affiliate who promotes ecom offers and has used ClickBank to achieve the life they used to dream of, and is now willing to share their story on camera to inspire and help others do the same." This helps others find you the right people to talk to. 5. Absolutely slay. If you're there to work, network, do business, etc. then do your very best with the time that is given to you. You never know who is watching and will take notice of you getting after it. Hard work + a good attitude goes a long way! Beyond thankful to ClickBank for the opportunity to go to Platinum Summit to create amazing content and forge new relationships! There's plenty more I could talk about, but this is what comes top of mind. What advice would you give someone looking to maximize their time at an in-person event? #clickbank #networking #contentcreation #videomarketing
