Passive cooling solutions offer low-cost, low-carbon ways to stay cool. While improving the efficiency of technologies like air conditioners is vital, we must also reduce our reliance on these energy-intensive, climate-polluting appliances. Through the smarter design of buildings, communities, and cities, we can provide equitable access to cooling while significantly cutting greenhouse gas emissions. We're delighted to share that this year, our #ClimatePolicy programme Summer SCENE had 1446 applicants from 94 countries. 🌎 🇳🇬 21% of our applicants came from Nigeria. 🧕 A whooping 47% applicants are female. We would like to highlight that we received applications from Comoros, Côte d'Ivoire, Georgia and Haiti for the first time.
