Each year on March 30th, we recognize World Bipolar Day, a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness, fostering open conversations, and increasing understanding of bipolar disorder. We were pleased to recently host a Round Table Collaboration meeting with the New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness (NHCEH). The meeting gathered local representatives and agencies that work together to help end homelessness within our region of Western Rockingham County. With this meeting we were able to share, discuss and inform Jennifer Chisholm, Executive Director, and Nicole Johnson Program Coordinator with NHCEH about some of the unique challenges as well as the successes we have had within Western Rockingham County. A significant challenge for this region is the lack of a shelter for the homeless to go to during overnight hours which leads individuals to seek availability of open beds outside of our region and their community. Other challenges were discussed including availability of sufficient funding needed to keep doing the amazing work this group provides day in and day out. @VeteransInc @TheUpperRoomFamilyResourceCenter @GraniteUnitedWay
