Welcome to the Cloverkey fold, Dignity Health Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, CA - our 5th CommonSpirit Health location. The hospital had been without a gift shop since early 2020 and the excitement on campus was so gratifying, including their welcome of the shop's fabulous new manager, Monilade Walker-Dixon! Terri Church, hospital COO, shepherded the entire process and, along with her team, staged an amazing grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration. Ken Keller, President & CEO, started the party by inviting the entire campus to the celebration and offered glowing praise of the new shop. Gift shop space prep began with Joshua Sharp and his team, who transformed the space into a beautiful, spacious shop that features something for everyone. In keeping with our commitment to partner with local florists, the shop's beautiful floral arrangements are from All Seasons Florist in the heart of Bakersfield. And, of course, the shop features a full assortment of Dignity Health logo merchandise that the staff are clearly loving! Welcome, Store 131 at Memorial Hospital Bakersfield! We're proud to be your new gift shop operating partner!

We're so excited to share photos from the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of our newest location at Doylestown Health in Doylestown, PA. Hospital President & CEO, Jim Brexler, shared his pleasure and excitement about the new location before cutting the ribbon. Barbara Hebel (VP HR) and Steve W. Day Jr. Esq. CHC (Privacy Officer) were instrumental throughout the process. And no one worked harder on the partnership than Langley Karen (DVS) who is the gift shop's champion on campus. We're proud to say the familiar face of beloved gift shop manager, Linda Ruf, is still here as she continues to oversee the gift shop. The store's operating hours have more than doubled what they were with their prior operator and, along with a shop full of new merchandise, hospital logo items have been especially popular. We're happy to feature beautiful flower arrangements from local florist, Dominic Graziano (https://lnkd.in/gxhWctV5) and are honored to include beautiful hand-knitted items from the hospital's thriving volunteer corps in a dedicated section of the shop. Doylestown Hospital has the distinction of a 100-year history being operated by the VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION OF DOYLESTOWN PA, a women's organization founded in 1895. The hospital has recently begun the process of joining Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System after signing a definitive agreement in August 2024 (https://lnkd.in/ebtD_XYv). The regulatory review and integration is expected to be finalized in early 2025 and Cloverkey will be proud to be part of this exciting new chapter in the hospital's history.

Happy birthday to our Store 124 at University of Rochester Medical Center | Strong Memorial Hospital! This shining jewel of a gift shop is a partnership with the Friends of Strong (https://lnkd.in/gqwtrZhQ) which has overseen the shop since their inception in 1975. From our very first meeting with Sandra Arbasak, Director of Friends of Strong (shown below with our Kim Schuler), we knew just how special this campus is and our commitment has always been to give an extraordinary organization a premier gift shop. The realization of that commitment includes more than double the former gift shop operating hours; full support of a VERY robust logo merchandise program; clinical service line support, including lactation (see photo below); supporting Friends initiatives and campus-wide service recovery programs; very robust same-day-delivery online gift shop that includes all items available for sale in the store; and MANY more! Happy Birthday, Friends of Strong Gift Shop! Here's to our continued partnership! #Cloverkey #hospitalgiftshopmanagement #hospitalgiftshops #FriendsOfStrong

Happy Birthday to our Store 106 at Jefferson Health Cherry Hill hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ. This sweet shop opened during the height of Covid and was able to provide consistent, friendly service on campus throughout. Karen Moser joined us just to oversee our Jefferson Health New Jersey shops but quickly got promoted to District Manager and now includes the hat of Field Training Manager. We're so proud of our Jefferson Health partnership and grateful to them for entrusting us with their gift shops. We've got pix of our team below: Joei Brock on the left and Kathy Winters on the right.

We opened not one, but TWO new gift shops recently. Welcome to our Cloverkey Store 129 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ, which recently held its Blessing and Ribbon-cutting ceremony. This brings our CommonSpirit Health partnership to four operating gift shops with more on the horizon (no spoilers here, but coming soon!). Thanks to Mario Valadez and the entire hospital team for their support. We are looking forward to a long and healthy partnership for all!

Welcome to Cloverkey Store 128 at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ! Mario Valadez officiated at the Blessing and Ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of this beautiful new gift shop. The shop is dedicated to Ella Lerner, a long-time volunteer at the hospital. As noted on the DIGNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION-EAST VALLEY's website: "The late Ella Lerner, a dedicated hospital volunteer and Holocaust survivor, gave of her time, talent and treasure to support Chandler Regional Medical Center for more than 26 years. Ella lived to celebrate her 100th birthday. She retired from volunteering in the gift shop in 2016 and was honored with the United States Presidential Service Award for her many years of dedicated services. Ella named Chandler Regional Medical Center as a beneficiary in her estate. We honor the incredible life and legacy of giving Ella provided by naming the gift shop at Chandler Regional in her honor." It is our privilege to continue to honor Ella as the namesake of the Ella Lerner Gift Shop. You can read more of the foundation's legacy stories here: https://lnkd.in/gsujv-ZW.

Two More CommonSpirit Health Gift Shops Open What a fabulous week! Two new Dignity Health locations joined the Cloverkey recently with gift shop openings at Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center outside Phoenix. These gorgeous gift shops are the passion project of the hospitals’ robust volunteer corps and we are so proud of the large number of volunteers who continue to serve the campuses alongside our Cloverkey staff. Mario Valadez, Market VP of Mission Integration, has been our primary representative on both campuses and we couldn’t ask for a better partner. Many thanks go out to the entire facilities and IT teams on both campuses, as well, for all the support they provided during the transition. And, of course, we have to send out lots of love and thanks to Lori Mercer and Valerie Heninger, the campus Supervisors of Volunteer Services who have been so dedicated to these shops and the service they provide on campus. This double installation also gave PEYTON UZELAC, Visual Merchandise Coordinator and the newest member of our corporate team, a chance to show off his store set-up skills as he worked side-by-side with our installation teams. Check out the photos below!

We are excited to announce execution of a gift shop operating agreement for a fifth CommonSpirit Health location at Dignity Health Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, California. The new shop will open at the beginning of October and we expect a lot of excitement since their shop closed in early 2020 and has not re-opened. We've been surveying the hospital campus for feedback on their perfect gift shop and have had fantastic response that we will work to incorporate during the space design and preparation process. We'll be sure to share photos from the grand opening to showcase our first (of many, we hope) California locations. We're celebrating the birthday of our Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital gift shop today! This gift shop includes a beautiful WPS Starbucks coffee bar and our entire team has had the chance to experience life on the receiving end of complex coffee orders (which turns out to be very different from the ordering end 😉). Even our President, Justin Cohen, got in on the coffee prep! Manager Porsha Davis has been there from the beginning and has graduated from Coffee Pioneer to Queen of Coffee! And in support of our commitment to working with local businesses, this location also began our partnership with Infinity Floral Studio Inc, who now supplies flowers to all our Chicagoland locations. Of course, Porsha oversees the entire gift shop operation in a large space that includes a robust hospital logo merchandise program and all our more traditional gift shop categories (e.g. baby, inspirational, gifts, personal care, etc.). Porsha and her team have the distinction of receiving more customer compliments than any location in our fleet and we couldn't be more proud of her signature customer service standard as well as her commitment to making our flagship gift & coffee shop combo the standard-setter.
