At yet another conference, a Clueso customer eagerly pulled out his phone to show everyone the videos he made of his product! As a software founder, it’s hard to get the satisfaction of seeing your product out in the physical world, like hardware founders might. That’s why moments like these are so valuable. At last week’s YC reunion, I was thrilled to meet many of our long-time customers, including Aman Raghuvanshi from Pyq AI (YC W23) and Arun Thulasidharan and co from Castled.io, who feature videos made on Clueso front and center on their company’s landing pages. The most rewarding part of building Clueso (YC W23) is watching our customers create content they never thought they could make. Hearing how we've enabled them to create standout product videos while saving thousands of $$ spent with video agencies is what keeps us motivated every day. There’s truly no better channel to acquire customers than word of mouth!

Had a blast demoing Clueso (YC W23) at the SF Tech Week Ultimate AI Pitch event, organized by Convex! Last year, we were still students at IITM. This year, our company is sponsoring the IITM alumni conference in the Bay Area! Clueso (YC W23) is now SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and ISO27001 certified! This marks an important milestone in our journey: it’s a way of proving that we’re committed to making sure our product and services maintain the highest standards of data security and privacy. Our audits and certification has been done through Accorp Partners Inc., a renowned CPA firm based out of California. We are glad to have Sprinto on board as our compliance partner to help us manage our cybersecurity and implement organizational controls. In practice, it’s been an effort over several months to ensure both our infrastructure and our organizational structure facilitates top notch security. These certifications necessitate continuous checks and balances that we have to maintain across a variety of potential risks. Some of these include 🔑 Data security and confidentialiy: We ensure we use best practices and state of the art methods to keep all customer data encrypted at rest and in transit. We maintain strict access controls with audit logs to ensure only authorised personnel can access data with accountability. 📈 Infrastructure scaling: We ensure all critical, production infrastructure is monitored and robust alerting systems are set up to maximise availability. 💥 Disaster recovery plans: Backups of data are maintained and procedures are laid in place to not only handle potential issues but notify customers in case of signficant incidents. 🐍 Vendor management: We ensure all our vendors and data subprocessors go through as rigorous a process as we do in their security controls. 🤷♂️ People: We might be a small org today, but we have already set up policies for all employees to follow: from data privacy related training to password security. I've been doing B2B sales for over 15 months now. Every meeting I attend is accompanied by my Fireflies.ai notetaker. And last month, we proudly onboarded Fireflies as a customer!
