About us
For nearly 130 years, Columbia Memorial Health has been the leading healthcare provider in Hudson, New York and beyond. Columbia Memorial Health is a 192-bed hospital with an integrated health network of 35 primary and specialty care centers throughout Columbia, Greene, and Dutchess counties. Columbia Memorial Health's medical staff of nearly 350 providers ensures our communities have access to safe, high quality, comprehensive healthcare services. In 2018, Columbia Memorial Health was nationally recognized by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association as an "Achievement Award Hospital" earning the highest achievement level of "Stroke Gold Plus". Locally, Columbia Memorial Health physicians are consistently recognized as "Top Docs" of the Hudson Valley. In 2016, Columbia Memorial Health entered into an affiliation with Albany Medical Center extending even greater benefits to patients through a regionally integrated, locally governed healthcare system. Situated less than two hours by train to Manhattan, Hudson is home to award-winning restaurants, a thriving arts and entertainment culture, and incomparable bucolic vistas. Surrounded by the Catskill and Berkshire mountains, there are many outdoor recreational activities to enjoy - golfing, skiing, hiking. The New York Times has called Hudson "An Elegant Transformation" and recently a New York Post article described Hudson as a city that "...has become a center for art, design, performance, food and drink. It perfectly embodies the old-time, artisanal look of recent years...Hudson is not only burnishing its reputation for midcentury antiques and contemporary art, it has also become a formidable performance hub as well."
