A grand vision is one thing. Having the tenacity, patience, and dedication to see it through is something else entirely. Fortunately for #Chattanooga, the Tennessee office of Trust for Public Land has all of these qualities - and thanks to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Community Change program, they've got the resources to put them into action. The Alton Park Connector will link a number of long-neglected neighborhoods to each other and to the rest of our city, unlocking new health, environmental, and economic benefits as it does so. Congratulations to Noel, David, Daniela, and everyone who is making this vision a reality. Special thanks as always to Scott Martin and the City of Chattanooga for their partnership.

David Kinzler does what great business leaders have always done: identify a pain point and innovate around it. In his case, it was getting timely advice from physician friends on how to help his sick kids - a service that could and should be available to more people everywhere. TextCare has the opportunity to help working families get more of what they need when they need it: help, care, and time. Thanks to the Chattanooga Times Free Press for learning more about this remarkable and fast-growing company.

Last night's State of the City address was equal parts tent revival, homecoming, rallying cry, and reminder of what makes #Chattanooga such a special place. More parks, better parking, next-level academic research capabilities, and innovative wastewater treatment methods - and so much more! - are all part of Mayor Tim Kelly's vision for #OneChattanooga. Coeo Media was grateful for the opportunity to help him tell that story.

Coeo Media was honored to support our friends at the AIM Center Inc. at yesterday's groundbreaking for Espero Chattanooga -- a new permanent supportive housing community that will bring so much hope to so many. Thanks to the Chattanooga Times Free Press for following this story for so many years!
I remember Tyler Yount, PMP first talking to me about the AIM Center Inc.'s vision for this project in 2018 -- a lifetime ago, politically speaking. Yesterday, Anna Protano-Biggs and her team got to break ground on Espero Chattanooga, a remarkable new community that will bring hope to some of our community's most vulnerable men and women. Congratulations to the AIM Center Inc., their many supporters, and terrific partners like the City of Chattanooga and Vecino Group who are making Espero Chattanooga possible.

When the Memphis College of Art left Overton Park, it left a hole in the city’s heart in more ways that one: historic Rust Hall, the breathtaking mid century modern complex that had been its home for decades, went vacant. U3 Advisors was invited to use our unique expertise in real estate strategy and public engagement to conduct a thorough community visioning process for the campus. We subsequently prepared and issued a request-for-proposal that allowed the City of Memphis to find the next tenant for this iconic building: the National Ornamental Metal Museum, whose compelling and catalytic vision for Rust will ensure that it remains a place of learning for generations to come. Congratulations to the Metal Museum and the City of Memphis for forging a bold new future here. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/evc82JRA

Across the country, our Community Schoolyards program transforms playgrounds into awesome parks that bring the benefits of nature closer to home. It’s time to bring these projects to Tennessee, which is why I’m thrilled to announce the launch of our Tennessee Community Schoolyards program with East Side Elementary School. These fifth graders stepped up, listening to classmates and neighbors, and putting in the work to design their schoolyard. Thanks to the support from our partners Hamilton County Department of Education, City of Chattanooga, Tim Kelly, and community members, these spaces will help create healthier, more connected, and more climate-resilient communities across the state.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is funding a number of remarkably innovative and next-level technologies - like 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘝𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦-𝘵𝘰-𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 (𝘊-𝘝2𝘟), which allows cars to literally communicate with each other and the streets they drive on. You don't have to understand the technology to understand what it means for cities like #Chattanooga: more safety, more efficiency, and more connectivity where we need it the most. Congratulations again to Mina Sartipi and her team at the Center for Urban Informatics and Progress, and thanks to Zach Etzin at Accelerator for America for helping tell the story. #coeomeansconnection #cuip #utc #bil #smartcities

"Your feelings are like warning lights on your dashboard; they are telling you what’s going on under the hood.” 𝘌𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 is a skill that great leaders can no longer afford not to have. No one is better at helping individuals develop it in themselves and their teams than Shad and Ken at Edmundson Berry Group. Thanks to The Daily Memphian for taking a look at how they do it and why it matters to more and more companies across the Mid-south and beyond. #coeomeansconnection #edmundsonberrygroup #emotionalintelligence
