A company called Brand Equity published that "Kotler's 4Ps are dead." Brand Equity renamed the 4Ps as: Platforms, Phygital experiences, Personalized pricing and Promotion through personalized engagement. I welcome their proposal although explaining it will take a lot more time. In the meantime, Christian Sarkar and I have added an important fifth P to my conventional 4Ps. We added Purpose. Purpose is not an additional tool. Purpose raises the important initial question: What is the Purpose of Your Business, Product, or Brand?
