Today, we honor Indigenous Peoples Day—a day to recognize and honor the Native Americans who were the first to call this land home. May we reflect on the legacy and impact of colonialism as we celebrate the rich culture, resiliency, and contributions of the native peoples who have carefully stewarded this land for centuries.💛 #indigenouspeoplesday #indigenousrights #indigenoushistory

Our Student Support Coordinators recently met with Sheila Davidson, Assistant Manager of the Juvenile Intervention Unit, and her team who oversee Guardian ad Litem, Truancy, Diversion, and Community Supervision. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to explore new avenues for collaboration, strengthen partnerships with CIS-partnered schools, and celebrate successes while addressing key challenges. Together, we analyzed last year's data to drive future improvements and explored home-visiting strategies to address attendance concerns. We’re grateful to JJC for their ongoing partnership and look forward to continuing our efforts with future meetings. Special thanks to Sheila’s team for also highlighting their work with ESD 123, providing vital educational support to students in detention. Thank you for your commitment and ongoing support as we collectively strive to fuel potential in all youth in our community! 🙌 #AllInForKids #CommunityOfSupport
