Each year, CAPRW is a part of the Heat's On event in the Twin Cities! This day brings together volunteer union pipefitters to provide free furnace repairs and inspections to senior, low-income and disabled homeowners. This year there were 140 volunteers, 840 hours of work, 87 homes serviced, and $168,000 of skilled labor and material cost donated to families in need! CAPRW is so proud to be a part of an event that impacts so many families! Support CAPRW in our mission: https://lnkd.in/e9qxEbcx

It's Weatherization Day! The weatherization workforce is highly skilled and trained to deliver energy savings to families in all types of homes- single family, multifamily, and mobile homes. We are proud to have a staff that stands behind the mission of CAPRW when working with participants and families who come to us for services. This year, we were able to use unrestricted monies to run Imagine Projects, one of which being our Pathway to Driver's License! Our restricted funding only allowed for 12 participants in 2024. We could have supported more adults wanting to join the Pathway to Driver’s License Imagine Project with unrestricted funds, like those we receive on Give to the Max Day!
