BREAKING NEWS FROM CCBA: Response to CA Governor Newsome’s veto of SB 895 and AB 2104, which would have granted 10 of the California Community College Districts the opportunity to pilot Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) programs. "This decision represents a missed opportunity, for an already suffering field, that will significantly impact California’s healthcare systems, workforce and, most importantly, the citizens impacted by inconsistent care."

We love the #newmember excitement coming from Midland College and look forward to watching their CCB program list grow! “We are excited to be part of this national movement,” Midland College Provost Michael Dixon said in a news release. “Our membership in the CCBA will enable us to expand and refine our existing baccalaureate programs and explore new opportunities for students to earn applied baccalaureate degrees locally. This is a critical step in our focus on world-class technical training, which is one of seven pillars in our strategic plan, ensuring that MC graduates are prepared for the demands of today’s job market.”
