I had the honor of meeting and touring Fort Meade with Colonel Yolanda Gore, the 89th garrison commander and the first female to serve in this role in the base's over 100-year history. Grateful to the Fort Meade Alliance for hosting the Board of the Community Foundation of Howard County and facilitating this insightful tour and meeting.
