We're here to help. 💜 Our multi-tiered service delivery model combines direct services and impact litigation to ensure fairness for individuals and their families, while tackling systemic issues that will strengthen access to justice for everyone. We offer advice, clinics, workshops, and representation in matters related to family law, immigration, housing, public benefits, consumer debt, health access, and elder law.

Congratulations are in order for Senior Paralegal Claudia Batres and Board Director Rich Otera who received Legal Aid Association of California's Award of Merit! 🎉 Claudia brings a unique blend of compassion, expertise, and resilience to her work in our Immigration Unit. She has a natural ability to connect with people, providing them with the support and resources they need during some of the most challenging times of their lives. Rich is a dedicated board member and advocate for Community Legal Aid SoCal and he has significantly advanced our mission to serve underrepresented communities in Southeast Los Angeles County. It is an honor to work alongside Claudia and Rich in support of our mission of fighting injustice and advocating for social, economic, and racial equity. ❤

Glicken, Executive Director of Public Law Center, Antoinette Naddour, Esq., LLM, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Veterans Legal Institute, and Brooke Weitzman, Executive Director of Elder Law and Disability Rights Center about how they are changing the legal landscape together in Orange County.

We at Community Legal Aid SoCal are thrilled to welcome the Korematsu Center to Orange County. As the county's oldest and largest provider of free civil legal services we share a common mission with the Center - to fight injustice and advocate for social, economic, and racial equity. We are excited to have a new partner in our fight to create a future where equity and justice are not a goal but a given. The Korematsu Center is one of the premier race justice centers in the country and honors the legacy of civil rights hero Fred Korematsu by advancing justice through research, advocacy, and education. It's Pro Bono Week and we couldn't ask for a better group of pro bono attorneys. From volunteering at our Eviction Defense and Expungement Clinics to representing clients in court, they truly make a difference. A big thank you to all of them! 💙
