This Pride Month, Compear Global Education Network celebrates the resilience, creativity, and leadership of queer individuals who have paved the way for a more inclusive and equitable world. Audre Lorde: "Your silence will not protect you." What it means today: This reminds us that staying silent in the face of injustice perpetuates oppression. Speaking out is crucial for change. James Baldwin: "Love takes off the masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within." What it means today: True love and acceptance require authenticity. We must embrace our true selves and encourage others to do the same. Marsha P. Johnson: "No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us." What it means today: True pride and equality can't be achieved until everyone, especially the most marginalized, is free from oppression and discrimination. Let’s honor their legacy by continuing the fight for equality and inclusion for all. Happy Pride! #pride #internationaleducation #RespectfulDisruption
