So, today was a great day! The Court of Appeal gave judgment in InterDigital, Inc. v Lenovo and InterDigital has won its appeal and defeated both of Lenovo’s appeals 🎉 The Court has increased the Royalty payable to $240 million (!) and told Lenovo it must pay for all of its infringing use back to 2007. Lenovo are also paying InterDigital’s appeal costs and Lenovo’s application for permission to appeal to the Supreme Court has been refused by the Court of Appeal.
