The second aviator we would like to recognize as a part of our series is Charles Lindbergh. Lindbergh is best known for making the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from May 20-May 21 in 1927. Covering a distance of 3,600 miles in his aircraft, the Spirit of St. Louis, he flew from Roosevelt Field in New York to Le Bourget Field near Paris in 33.5 hours. This historic feat earned him worldwide fame and revolutionized aviation by proving that long-distance air travel was possible. Lindbergh’s accomplishment not only captured the imagination of the public but also inspired advances in both technology and international air travel. #aviationhistory #charleslindbergh #flight #aviators #airtravel

November is National Aviation History Month! During the month, we will celebrate the many remarkable achievements and milestones in aviation. Throughout this month, we will be recognizing significant people, accomplishments, and events in aviation every week. To start off, Week 1 will be focusing on Famous Aviators. Who better to start with than the Wright Brothers? Orville and Wilbur Wright achieved the world’s first successful powered flight on December 17, 1903, at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This historic 12-second flight marked the first time an airplane took off, flew, and landed safely. Their invention paved the way for the modern aviation industry. Their achievements revealed the possibilities of powered flight, transforming transportation and exploration. #aviationhistorymonth #wrightbrothers #flight #aviation #aviationhistory #firstinflight #aviators

We had a blast celebrating Halloween at CRT yesterday! Our team went all out with fantastic costumes, making it hard to pick winners. It was a tie for the best team costume between the Drafting team as penguins and the Sales team as our very own Sales Manager! Individual honors went to Ashley Shaffer for "Scariest Costume" as a creepy moth, and Erin Fischbach for "Best Look-Alike" as Kim Possible. Huge thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and creativity—your hard work and positive energy make CRT an incredible team to be part of! #Halloween #FunAtWork #CompanyCulture

A huge thank you to Lauren Tousignant and Joe Glavan for having us at this year’s Mentor High School Career Expo! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to have some great conversations about our Student Opportunities in Aviation Repair (SOAR) program with many of the 1,260 students that attended! Our CRT team had a great time engaging with them and talking to them about their futures, which are so bright they’ve got to wear shades- that CRT was happy to provide! #crtjobs #soar #community #aviationcareers #mentorohio #hiring

Being involved in the community is a vital part of our culture at CRT. Yesterday a team from CRT volunteered at the Mentor High School Food Drive. Employees and other volunteers unboxed pallets, packed food boxes, distributed food to community members and directed traffic. It was a beautiful day to help out our local schools and members of the community. #Community #HelpingOthers #CRTCulture

We had an amazing time at CRT’s annual Chili & Soup Cook Off! A big shoutout to all the talented chefs with their delicious recipes, and to everyone who joined us to taste, vote, and have fun. This event wasn’t just about great food—it was for a great cause! The cook off is one of several events we hold to raise money for Christmas families, and this year we raised $650 to kick things off. The competition was tough, but we crowned some well-deserved winners. Congratulations to Rick Dunham and his Texas Style Smoked Brisket Chili and James Roth for his Hot Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup. #ChiliCookOff #SoupSeason #CRTCulture #GivingBack
