🌍✈️ This week, StandardAero’s Center of Excellence (COE) for Turboprop Engine MRO in Summerside, PEI, welcomed the company’s global Small Engine Sales Team for its annual meeting! The event—which brought together over 50 of the company’s sales and service professionals in the Birthplace of Confederation—provided an invaluable opportunity for the team to share best practices in meeting the diverse needs of PW100, PT6A, AE 3007, JT15D and APU operators worldwide. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the PEI facility and spend valuable face-to-face time with the local team of MRO service professionals. StandardAero’s Summerside location is a Pratt & Whitney Canada Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the PW100, PT6A, and JT15D engines, StandardAero being the world’s largest independent DOF for all three powerplants. 🏆 The meeting also saw prizes awarded for 2024 achievements, including ‘Deal of the Year’ awards to Clovis Martins (plus Emily Arsenault and Martin Lynch, for the Brazilian Air Force PT6A-68C contract – see https://lnkd.in/gU4Jyc2D), Christophe LAURENT 🇺🇦 (plus Shelley Steele and Amy Pickard), and Antoine Fagart (plus Nicholas Fraser and Emily Arsenault); ‘Collection of the Year’ awards to Todd Vanderhyde and Nasser Skalli Housseini; plus Teamwork/Cooperation awards to John Burns/Gene Penning/Todd Vanderhyde/Mike Woodward and the International Sales team. Thanks to everyone who traveled to PEI to learn about (and contribute to) our strategies for delivering customer service excellence during 2025! #PW100 #PT6A #AE3007 #JT15D #APU

Celebrating 25 Years of Partnership! 🎉🔧 StandardAero is proud to celebrate 25 years of collaboration with GE Aerospace, delivering world-class engine assembly and maintenance services to support Canada’s military aviation fleet. From our Richmond, BC facility, we have assembled and maintained T700 and CT7 engines, powering key Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft: 🚁 CH-149 Cormorant – Critical for search and rescue missions 🚁 CH-148 Cyclone – Essential for maritime operations Beyond assembly, our Richmond team ensures operational readiness by overhauling these high-performance engines. ⭐ StandardAero leaders in the news ⚡ Our VNY site’s #avionics supervisor, Mike Hansen, was recently featured in a DOM Magazine article by Mario Pierobon that discusses the training requirements for aircraft avionics maintenance specialists. “Training for avionics maintenance technicians typically includes troubleshooting techniques for complex avionics problems, hands-on practice with specialized tools and equipment, safety protocols, applicable FAA regulations, and updates on manufacturer maintenance bulletins,” Hansen mentioned. Among other skills and special training procedures needed, Hansen also explains how avionics maintenance and repair expertise differs from the training and knowledge of MRO for the rest of the aircraft. 📰 Learn more in this month’s edition of DOM Magazine or read the full article: https://ow.ly/Vxlj50Vg44J #AircraftMRO #BizAv #AviationMaintenance
