We are proud to have supported and funded the Beauty Bus Foundation's pop-up salon at the Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence 🎀 The salon offered pampering and beauty services to breast cancer patients, caregivers, and staff. 💖 It's initiatives like these that remind us how important it is to support the emotional well-being of cancer patients and those taking care of patients as well. We are honored to support LUCIA BORRIELLO with the Conquer Cancer Now Grant for her research on the role of chemotherapy in triggering the awakening of dormant tumor cells and metastatic relapse in breast cancer.

🚀 MISSION CONCERN – CONQUERING CANCER THE FINAL FRONTIER 🚀 On Saturday, July 13th, 2024, we hosted our 49th Annual Block Party on the historic backlot of Paramount Studios Hollywood, raising over $2.4 million for cancer research with 4,000 guests and over 100 food & beverage vendors! This year's space-themed event honored the STANLEY & JOYCE BLACK FAMILY FOUNDATION for their community leadership legacy. Special guests included Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Sugar Ray Leonard, Barry Williams, Henry Tillman, and Joanna DeJoria. Event Highlights: - DeLorean from Back to the Future 🚗 - Star Wars Characters from 501st Legion 🌌 - Vibrato Intergalactic Cantina 🎶 - 18-foot Astronaut at the DJ Stage with D'City Sound and Event Production👩🚀 - Guests enjoyed gourmet food, desserts, spirits, and top-notch entertainment by The Tom Nolan Band and the Jason Goldstein Sextet with Lilli Passero. The 36th Annual Holiday Party for pediatric cancer patients and families will be held on Saturday, December 9th and once again we need help collecting toys, gifts and Target or Amazon gift cards for our annual holiday toy drive. Every cancer patient and their immediate family members who attend our holiday event receives toys and gifts from Concern. Consider hosting a toy drive with your family and friends during Thanksgiving or at your office! We are happy to pick up toys and if needed can supply collection boxes.
