New amazing demo showcasing Concourse's Budget Variance Analysis capabilities. Wanted to share the breakthrough we're seeing with our customers: 🚀 From Raw Data to Actionable Reports in Seconds Remember those days spent compiling budget variance reports? Concourse is eliminating those hours by automatically connecting to your data, extracting key insights, and crafting a complete narrative—all in under 3 minutes. What used to take days now happens while you grab a coffee. 💬 Natural Language Refinement The most impressive part? Our customers are getting 90% of their analysis done automatically, then using simple conversational language to refine and enhance their reports. No more complex formulas or report-building skills required—just tell Concourse what you need, and watch it transform. 🔍 Beyond "What" to "Why" Standard reports tell you what happened. Concourse explains WHY it happened. During today's demo, we showed how Concourse automatically highlighted unexpected trends, explained complex drivers behind variances, and uncovered insights that would have taken hours of manual analysis to discover. For leaders making critical financial decisions, this is game-changing Faster access to deeper insights means quicker, more informed decisions and a completely different approach to data-driven leadership

Watch our latest video where we demonstrate how Concourse's AI agent turns what can sometimes take days into minutes, while delivering deeper insights than traditional reporting ever could. Financial reporting has always been one of the most time-consuming tasks for finance teams, and many teams find themselves going through the motions for a report that they know won't materially impact the business. How come? Because most reports stop at the WHAT and never tell readers the WHY. It's not the fault of finance teams though – most are still stitching together data from across the organization, copying and pasting from spreadsheet to spreadsheet, and getting asked new questions every day. All of that while being asked to take on more strategic responsibility within their organization. Concourse's AI reporting agent is here to help finance teams to: ⏱️ Create comprehensive reports in minutes, not days 💡 Automatically uncover insights and anomalies in your data 📈 Answer the WHY behind financial trends and performance 👥 Customize reports for different stakeholders with a single prompt 🧩 Free up valuable time for strategic analysis and decision-making This is also just the beginning – stay tuned all week for new content showcasing how forward-thinking finance teams are already using our AI reporting agent to transform their reporting processes and drive better business outcomes, as well as the impact generative AI is having on finance overall. The future of AI is building context-aware vertical AI agents Today working with LLMs is still very generic in nature. They don't understand your business or have the context they need to help accurately perform work Within finance -- all of the work that model providers can automate is generalized outputs not specialized outputs Like create a new policy, answering an accounting question on contra-revenue, the right way to write out a formula/query in Excel or SQL That's helpful in itself and makes you faster + more productive But the AI is not actually doing work for you. This is where vertical AI agents come in At Concourse we're allowing finance teams to connect their business data in our AI to allow them to chat with their financial data By getting information from your ERP or your data warehouse, Concourse's AI analyst has access to core business information to create specialized work for you Like create a chart of the last 12 months of revenue, pull out key new vendors for last month, do a budget variance analysis, calculate a cohort curve Combine that output with additional business context and more data sources and suddenly Concourse is able to answer key business questions like Was my latest marketing campaign effective? Should I be investing in this business line more? What are some attributes of my most successful customers? Vertical AI agents who have access to your data and business context can help you become 10x more efficient and help you drive your business and work forward 💪

  • Last week in San Francisco we hosted 2 amazing finance dinners with startup leaders at high growth companies with both Andreessen Horowitz and SVB The central theme for both dinners was around AI adoption within finance teams We had really rich conversations on how finance teams and leaders view AI as ways to augment their work and allow them to focus on the important priorities The modern CFO stack is evolving and those who have implemented AI are seeing massive amounts of leverage and efficiencies around removing manual tasks & scaling themselves There is a clear level of excitement within finance teams -- especially in the Bay Area -- where finance leaders are seeing the impact of AI within their departments and organizations We will continue to host dinners in both NYC and Austin next month -- let us know if you would like to be part of these conversations. Thank you again to: Ivan Makarov Vanessa Di Frances (Jimenez), MBA Mackenzie Lynn And everyone who showed up & shared their insights 🙏

Today we released a complete guide to the best AI tools for finance teams A growing trend of modern finance teams are implementing AI native tools to improve the efficiency of their teams and work -- leading to better results, faster growth, and better operations But most of time the question I get asked is: "How can I get started using AI for my work" Some finance professionals have already tried using generic AI tools and seen performance issues combined with an inability to automate real processes. Others just don't quite yet know where to start. This guide will help. To create this guide we gathered data from our conversations with 100s of finance leaders who are using AI today in their finance teams and grouped them according to workflows they help automate -- specifically * AI FP&A Tools * AI FP&A tools enable strategic finance leaders to choose more automation without losing flexibility when reporting and analyzing financial data through AI. We highlight Concourse as the leading AI FP&A tool * AI Accounting Tools * AI accounting tools are helping reduce reconciliation work through automating the close process to reduce human errors and free up time for more strategic tasks. We highlight Numeric, Truewind, and Rillet as leading tools * AI Accounts Receivable Tools * AI AR tools analyze customer payment history to predict potential delinquencies and prioritize collection efforts in addition to helping teams track and invoice contract terms seamlessly. We highlight Maxio, Sequence, and JustPaid as leading tools * AI Accounts Payable Tools * AI AP tools are changing how businesses manage their invoices and payment flows through the automation of manual tasks like receipt capture, policy enforcement, and rich payment controls. We highlight Brex, Ramp, and Jeeves as leading tools * AI Treasury Tools * AI treasury tools leverage LLMs to analyze market liquidity trends, predict cash flow, and optimize financial management to help treasury teams stay on top of liquidity and capital needs. We highlight Nilus, and Finley as leading tools Full guide in the comments with use cases, customers, funding and more for every tool we highlight I hope this guide is a great starting point for finance teams who are looking to modernize their stack and tools that have native AI capabilities Happy to personally help make introductions to any of the companies listed in the guide as they have all built amazing products and companies If automating reporting and analysis of financial data with AI agents is top of mind please reach out to me or Concourse and we would love to give you a demo.
