Connexus Energy Business Applications and Data director, Jennifer Sackett spoke at the 4th annual NoDAKoN, cybersecurity conference, hosted by Minot State University. She discussed identifying personal risk and conducting a self assessment, as well as developing a risk management plan. On October 2nd, 12 Connexus employees headed south with their trucks and gear on their journey to western South Carolina to help with power restoration where Hurricane Helene left nearly 90% of Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative, Inc. members without power; proudly exercising Co-op Principle #6 – 𝘾𝒐𝙤𝒑𝙚𝒓𝙖𝒕𝙞𝒐𝙣 𝘼𝒎𝙤𝒏𝙜 𝘾𝒐𝙤𝒑𝙚𝒓𝙖𝒕𝙞𝒗𝙚𝒔. After 9 days of hard work, our team returned home safe and sound late last week. We want to spend a moment to say THANK YOU to them for their hard work and dedication to help keep the lights on - throughout our Co-op family.
