This Friday we're reflecting on the power of a $1 for $1 match! Thanks to key legislators and the Governor's office, the School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program amplifies local educational initiatives across Florida like The Education Fund - Miami's Food Forest for Schools. From kindergarteners sorting leaves largest to small, to older students graphing fruit tree growth, math skills are enhanced throughout Food Forests, all while building healthy eating habits and working outside in a calm environment that helps students retain knowledge.
