About us
Construction Angels is an approved IRS 501-(c)(3) Non-Profit Public Charity. That exemption allows Construction Angels to collect funds and provide the donor with a valid tax deduction and will allow it to be exempt from certain state and federal taxes. Construction Angels, Inc. is a Non-Profit Corporation that aids families in need of financial assistance when a construction employee has lost his/her life in a fatal work-related accident. Many times when a household suffers a loss of life while working on a construction job-site, there are little or no funds available to the family to accommodate the spouse and children left behind. Our main objective is to help families pick up the pieces. CA is an Organization focusing on the construction worker’s spouse and children left behind. Its services are designed to provide an integrated approach to create quality of life for family members whose household has had the misfortune to be involved in a tragic and fatal accident. We hope to facilitate the avoidance of unexpected paths for workers and their families via facilitating access to safety information and providing a smooth transition if an unexpected path does occur. We're excited to share that on June 7, the 4th Annual CONSTRUCTION ANGELS, INC Illinois Golf Outing in Memory of Richard “Bird” Gaunt raised over $24,000! These funds will be used to offer immediate financial assistance and grief counseling to families in Illinois who have lost their loved ones while working on construction sites. As a proud sponsor of Construction Angels, Simformotion sent two teams, each consisting of four members, to play in the four-person scramble. The day was more than just a day of golf and camaraderie. It was also a tribute to fallen construction workers and a reminder of the significance of their families. “It is such a good feeling to know that Construction Angels provides immediate financial support and counseling for spouses and families," said Tim Cole, Simformotion Agriculture Account Manager. The second Annual Crusher Run a Success! We are thrilled to announce that our second annual Crusher Run was a resounding success, with more runners, walkers, and rollers than ever before! Yes, I ran it, and it wasn't my best time, but I'll take it! Thanks to our incredible volunteers and participants, we were able to hand out $30,000 to our chosen charities. Proceeds from this event will benefit CONSTRUCTION ANGELS, INC and the Baltimore Hunger Project. Construction Angels provides financial and other assistance to families of construction employees who have lost their lives on the job. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of these families. The Baltimore Hunger Project addresses weekend childhood hunger by providing food packages to food-insecure children and raising awareness through community partnerships.
