The Israeli economy is #resilient and has historically been able to overcome challenging economic environments. That was the case 10 months ago when Mr. Ackman made a bet on the #Israeli economy, and it remains the case today! With our global allies like the United States, we will continue to lead in #innovation and #technology to overcome the most pressing global challenges. 💪 📈 CTech by Calcalist https://lnkd.in/dttN5Kdd

Last night, I was proud to stand alongside 3,200 people from the metro Detroit Jewish community to commemorate the first anniversary of the October 7th massacre. Thank you to Detroit Federation President Gary Torgow, CEO Steven Ingber and the Michigan Board of Rabbis for your continued leadership in the community. I was honored to be with you and am truly moved by your overwhelming display of solidarity and support for Israel. Am Yisrael Chai! 🇺🇸🇮🇱

Shana Tova! 🍯🍎 Wishing everyone a peaceful and better year ahead. As we welcome the new year, we pray for the 101 hostages still held captive in Gaza. May this year bring their return and peace for their loved ones🎗

Yesterday, I spoke at the America - Israel Chamber of Commerce Chicago CleanTech Showcase to promote the partnership between Israel and the Midwest, particularly in the renewable energy sector. I was honored to speak alongside our keynote speaker, Nick Cohen CEO of Doral Renewables LLC. Doral is building the largest U.S. solar farm here in the Midwest and will power about 275,000 households once finished! It was also enriching to hear from our panel of Chicago entrepreneurship and renewable energy leaders, including Samir Mayekar of Polsky Center at the University of Chicago Aviv Shalgi of Solar Simplified and Henry Heitzer of Earth Foundry. Thank you especially to Robert Eisenstadt and Sally Fernandez and to all for a great evening of celebrating commercial partnership between Israel and the Midwest! 🇺🇸🤝🇮🇱

It was wonderful to bring together Latino and Jewish leaders from across Chicagoland to celebrate our cultures and shared values, marking Rosh Hashanah—the New Jewish Year—and Hispanic Heritage Month. It was a great reminder that we’re stronger when we come together. Shana Tova and Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇲🇽🍎🍯 Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest Grace Keathly

When flights to Israel were canceled, Grace Keathly, our Director of Community Affairs, missed her graduation ceremony from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. So, we brought the graduation to her! Grace personally received her diploma from the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University, Daniel Schlessinger, here, at our office in Chicago! Many thanks to all our friends from the American Friends of the Hebrew University for making it happen. Mazal tov, Grace! 🎓🎓 Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest Elisha S. It was great to meet with Nick Cohen, CEO of Doral Renewables LLC , the U.S. subsidiary of the Israeli-based Doral. Doral is leading transformative projects in the Midwest, bringing significant change to the region’s energy landscape. In Indiana, Doral is building the largest solar farm in the United States, powered by Israeli ingenuity and technology. Once completed, it will provide energy to approximately 275,000 homes! I’ve had the privilege of joining multiple groundbreaking events for this project over the past few years and actively supporting its development from the very start. I'm excited about the further opportunities in the Midwest, particularly in Illinois and Wisconsin. Under Nick's leadership, Doral Renewables USA has become one of the top ten solar energy companies in the country. Nick was also the keynote speaker at last night’s Clean Energy Showcase hosted by the America - Israel Chamber of Commerce Chicago. Thank you, Nick and Doral, for your commitment to strengthening the commercial partnership between Israel and the Midwest! Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest Itai Biran Ethan Ramer Ran Rabi🎗️
