Conti Federal is currently constructing an F-35 squadron operations and simulator facility to support the 301st Fighter Wing at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth, Texas. And as Civil Engineer Corps, United States Navy, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division Director Lt. Isaac Leskowat states, we're proud to be in their corner to deliver this world-class facility. We are thrilled to be the prime contractor on this mission critical project. Through partnership and collaboration with US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, and our trade partners, we are excited to get another job #DoneOnceDoneRight.
On Sept. 5, 2024, more than 250 people gathered for the Topping Out of the upcoming new Helo Tactical Response Force (TRF) and Operations/Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU), located at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming. More than 100 signatures were added to the patriotic star-spangled steel beam that was raised and put into place. The ceremony, a construction tradition, signified completion of the steel structure, and celebrated passing the 50% completion mark of the overall national defense project. The 37th Helicopter Squadron located at F.E. Warren AFB, will use the facility with the new MH139A Grey Wolf helicopter. The facility will bed down, maintain, and provide alert capabilities for this mission. It will also facilitate ground response forces. This project includes the construction of 134,000 sq. ft. of vertical construction with supporting site facilities and infrastructure accommodating 237 full-time military and civilian support staff. The facility will also include room for maintenance and an aircraft simulator. Associated site improvements include airfield apron, helipad, and other airfield amenities. The project is expected to be complete by July 2025. #OmahaUSACE #BuildingStrong #Essayons
