While team participation remains a cornerstone of Ripken Baseball, the All-Ripken Games have created a unique and exciting opportunity for individual players and their families to play at iconic venues like Cooperstown All Star Village and our Ripken Experiences. As we wrapped up our season earlier this month, the demand for All-Ripken continues to soar. In 2024, we expanded to 12 four-day events, including two outside of Ripken facilities. When Josh Harris and David Blitzer created Unrivaled Sports, it wasn’t just a catchy name. “I think that Josh and David saw that the youth sports industry was highly fragmented,” said Amanda Shank, executive vice president of Unrivaled Sports. “There was an opportunity to unify the best-in-class operators, venues, experiences and create something for athletes and their families that felt really special.”

Great to see Cooperstown All Star Village mentioned in The Athletic today as part of their MLB All-Star coverage for The New York Times. Red Sox All-Star Jarren Duran recounted hitting 16 home runs in one week at Cooperstown as a 12U player. The article recapped the perspective of Josh Rawitch, the president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. When collecting memorabilia, he often follows up by asking if they've been to Cooperstown. Many MLB players, including Duran, respond affirmatively. Rawitch recalled Duran mentioning he hit 16 home runs and noted that players always remember how many HRs they hit that special week as a kid. Last night, Duran smashed another home run - this time in the MLB All-Star Game. It was a go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth inning to lift the AL past the NL, 5-3.
