The Day 4 Recap of TEAMS '24, sponsored by Visit Albuquerque, features four informative panels on the last day of our incredible event in Anaheim. The day kicked off with the Mississippi Mornings fitness session, and then transitioned into the main ballroom for a full slate of educational sessions. Before the General Closing Session, featuring Geoff Freeman and John David, the inaugural transfer of the TEAMS flag took place, as we say farewell to Anaheim and look forward to TEAMS '25 with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission. The day was capped with the Closing Party at Splitsville in Downtown Disney, where event organizers took home a total of $5,000 in cash prizes.

The final day of TEAMS '24 featured four informative sessions that covered many topics, including women's sports in the growing spotlight, the decade ahead in sports related travel, women's collegiate sports working toward NCAA championship sanctioning and Olympic sports that are ready for their showcase in 2028. The TEAMS '24 Day 3 Recap, sponsored by Visit Albuquerque, features the 2024 SportsTravel Awards, which honored the best of the best in the sports events industry. The session also included some special guests from the National Congress of State Games, and an appearance by Stephen Nedoroscik, who won a Rubik's Cube Challenge. Attendees then enjoyed the networking happy hour sponsored by Explore Branson before heading to the Late Night Lounge at the House of Blues in Anaheim.

The first TEAMS '24 session on Wednesday featured Stefanie J. Tomlin from the KC Current and Derek Byrne from Visit KC talking about the impact of the first stadium in the world devoted to a professional women’s sports team. The final session of the day included Scott Cole of USA Gymnastics, Macie McNichols of USA Swimming, David Hepp of Montgomery Whitewater and Joe Gesue of NBC. The panel discussed hosting the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Trials, and what their plans are for 2028.
