  • Our Cooper Vein Center in Voorhees, NJ, has been granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Superficial Venous Treatment and Management! Well done, Cooper Team! “The prestigious IAC Vein Center Accreditation is a significant achievement for our Division of Vascular Surgery,” said Francis R. Spitz, MD, FACS, chairman and chief of Cooper’s Department of Surgery. “It is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team in providing exceptional care for our patients. We are proud to be recognized by such a respected body and are honored to offer our patients the assurance of quality care that this ‘seal of approval’ represents.” More than half of Americans aged 50 and older are affected by varicose veins, a condition where blood pools in the leg veins due to malfunctioning valves. This can progress to chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) in some cases. The treatment of varicose veins requires specialized evaluation and management, and the IAC accreditation ensures that Cooper meets the rigorous standards for quality care. Tonight is the night! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, attendees, and donors, we're able to share that The Cooper Foundation's 14th annual Cooper Red Hot Gala has again raised nearly $4 million to support the patients, services, research, and educational programs of Cooper University Health Care. Close to 1,000 guests are expected to attend this year’s event, where the extraordinary legacy and community impact of local legends Ron and Liz Jaworski will be celebrated. “We are deeply honored to be recognized at this year’s Cooper Red Hot Gala and grateful to be among others who truly understand the incredible work Cooper is doing in the region,” said Philly sports legend Ron Jaworski. “Supporting Cooper was a natural transition for my wife Liz and me, not only because of the dedicated doctors, nurses and medical teams, but also because of the remarkable impact they continue to make, inspiring us to proudly stand with them in their mission.” The full story is up on our blog: https://bit.ly/3XZzkna Photo credit: The Cooper Foundation.
