As a Vietnamese-Californian, founder Debbie Wei Mullin always loved rich and creamy Vietnamese coffee, but she also knew that despite being the second largest coffee exporter in the world, Vietnam’s coffee farms had been left behind in the global sustainability push. Above all else, creating better, more equitable opportunities in Vietnam is at the heart of Copper Cow Coffee. We make sure all our products are sourced, grown, and packaged as fairly and sustainably as possible. When I first started Copper Cow Coffee as the first premium Vietnamese coffee company in 2016, the two most popular responses I got were, "Vietnam makes coffee?" or, "So it's coffee for Vietnamese people." But just like greek yogurt isn't for greek people, but an incredible mainstream worthy variation on an American staple - Vietnamese coffee is on a similar rise. Vietnamese coffee searches are up 61%, and have risen sharply and steadily since Copper Cow Coffee was founded in 2016 on the premise that Vietnam, the second largest coffee producer in the world, was capable of bringing more flavor and sustainability to the world's specialty coffee market.
