🌍⚽ "Marcando la Diferencia" - A Game-Changing Climate PSA Campaign! ⚽🌍 We are thrilled to announce a powerful new collaboration between Corazón Latino, Climate Power, and Grupo Orlegi's CSR arm, Ganar Sirviendo (Win by Serving). Together, we've launched "Marcando la Diferencia," a series of climate public service announcements (PSAs) featuring the Mexican professional soccer team, Santos Laguna. This campaign highlights the vital intersection of the climate crisis and sports, showcasing the crucial role athletes and fans can play in driving climate action. Debuting during the final weekend of the COPA America tournament, these PSAs will reach Latinos on the frontlines of climate change, leveraging the influential platform of soccer to engage and inspire communities to take meaningful climate actions. Marcando la Diferencia: “El Reto se Calienta” Marcando la Diferencia: "La Pasión que Respiramos” Marcando la Diferencia: “El Equipo de la Tierra” Antonieta Cadiz, Deputy Executive Director for Climate Power En Acción, remarked, “The landscape of climate action discourse has shifted significantly. With historic climate investments directed towards Latino and frontline communities, we created these PSAs to inspire individuals to take supportive actions and continue backing leaders who prioritize environmental stewardship." Felipe Benítez, our Executive Director, added, “Our communities are on the frontlines of the climate crisis, facing the negative impacts of pollution and climate disasters. These PSAs stand in solidarity with them, promoting sustainability and protecting what we love—like soccer. Our goal is to empower our community to take decisive actions in safeguarding our Madre Tierra.” Laura Kalb de Irarragorri, Chairwoman of Ganar Sirviendo, Grupo Orlegi CSR arm, stated, "Sports and climate intersect significantly. Using soccer as a platform for social action, we demonstrate our commitment to fostering positive change, as our players and community experience firsthand the effects of polluted air and extreme heat." Catch the PSAs on Televisa-Univision in North Carolina and Georgia, and on Univision’s streaming services, U-now, and VIX, this weekend. Join us in making a difference! 🌍💚 #ClimateAction #MarcandoLaDiferencia #Sustainability #SoccerForChange #COPAAmerica #LatinoLeadership #EnvironmentalStewardship
