Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the UPMC Mercy Health Center facility team at the Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park! It was a great evening as we watched the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the St. Louis Cardinals on July 23rd. Despite the Pirates' narrow 2-1 loss and rookie ace pitcher Paul Skenes getting his first loss of the year, the camaraderie and energy were truly remarkable. It's moments like these that strengthen our partnerships and make our team even more cohesive. A big shoutout to the Cordia staff who attended: James Sloss, Mike Harrah, Joshua DiBucci, Joshua Meeks, and Bryan Sarti. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening memorable. Here's to many more events and successful collaborations in the future! #PittsburghPirates #UPMCMercy #CordiaTeam #Community

With more than ONE MILLION square feet of facility, you might wonder how Phoenix Convention Center & Venues keep the buildings cool during the summer months. The answer is a few floors below the ground: a chilled water plant! This plant, powered by Cordia, draws from potable water and works like a giant icebox, chilling water to ice overnight and then melting it during the day. This ice-cold water is then circulated to provide refreshing air conditioning to the PCC! Learn more at the new #sustainability dashboard.
The Phoenix Convention Center has launched a new feature on its website! Now, you can see the sustainability the facility is tracking month-to-month. Tracking everything from energy use to materials recycled, this tool will help us to see progress over time and to ensure that sustainability practices are factored in to daily decisions. Learn more:
