CORE is hiring for Associate Level Commercial Real Estate brokers in Portland, Maine! Job Summary: The Associate Broker is responsible for assisting clients in buying, selling, and leasing properties while providing expert advice and market insights. This role involves networking, marketing properties, negotiating deals, and ensuring compliance with real estate laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of the local market. Key Responsibilities: Client Representation: -Assist clients in the purchase, sale, and leasing of residential, commercial, or industrial properties. -Conduct property showings, market analysis, and property valuations. -Provide expert advice to clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters. Transaction Management: -Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and closing documents. -Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements on behalf of clients. -Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and other due diligence activities. Market Research and Analysis: -Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends and developments in the local real estate market. -Analyze market data to provide clients with insights and recommendations. -Maintain an updated database of available properties and market comparables. Marketing and Networking: -Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote properties. -Utilize various marketing channels, including online listings, social media, and traditional advertising. -Network with other real estate professionals, potential clients, and industry stakeholders to expand business opportunities. Compliance and Ethics: -Ensure all transactions comply with state and federal laws, as well as company policies. -Stay updated with changes in real estate laws and regulations. -Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and client confidentiality. Team Collaboration: -Work closely with other brokers, agents, and administrative staff to ensure smooth transaction processes. -Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Entry level Licenses: Must obtain real estate license within 90 days of hire Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
